Práticas de leitura na infância: contação de histórias e leitura mediada em tempos pandêmicos

This article seeks to describe one of the activities developed in Institutional Program Scholarships for Teaching Initiation (PIBID) financed by CAPES scholarship holders from University State Minas Gerais. The project aimed promote virtual reading practices storytelling and mediated during Covid-19 pandemic period students first year Elementary School classes schools participating program. methodology used apply was online meetings through platform Google Meet. Three were held: being a conversation circle with children about habits; next meeting, third work discussions previous meetings. stories tale Rapunzel, Brothers Grimm adaptation Rapunzel Quibungo, Cristina Agostinho Ronaldo Simões Coelho. At end development, it possible observe children's taste interest reading, their knowledge, development creativity imagination possibilities raised retelling original fairy tale. Even all problems involving context isolation imposed coronavirus pandemic, completion found that teaching could be carried out holders, such had satisfactory results those involved.
